Truth Quest Book Group meets again on Sunday, February 1 from 8:30 to 9:30 am via Zoom, when we will be sharing about the book "Reading Van Gogh: An Amateur's Search for God” by Elizabeth Barks Cox.
Next Sunday is a full-throated stewardship sermon starring the monster Godzilla and the mighty human heart. The message is guaranteed to deliver laughter, tears, and a swelling desire to help make the world a better place by financially supporting KUUF!

Join the Social Justice Committee for the next 2nd Friday Film Series on Friday, February 13. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the film begins in the Elmore Room at 6:30 pm. The film and popcorn are free!
Save the Date: At our last Congregational Meeting, the KUUF Board of Trustees committed to the congregation that we would commence a long-needed strategic planning process for KUUF. That begins next month, when the Strategic Planning Committee will conduct a congregation-wide Visioning Retreat on Saturday, February 21 from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm, led by Rev. Carol McKinley.
Save the Date: Our annual KUUF Stewardship Campaign will be during the month of February. We'll invite members and friends to pledge their financial, time, and talent commitment to KUUF for the coming fiscal year (May 2026 - April 2027).
The Labyrinth Task Force will hold its initial organizational meeting this Sunday, January 25 in the Elmore Room from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Ideas and planning for an eventual permanent labyrinth installed somewhere on campus will be discussed.
This coming Sunday, January 25 will be our first quarterly potluck Sunday, and Chalice Circle #2 will be our hosts. Thank you, CC #2!

We are celebrating the things we do to make our services more accessible to all who attend and to reflect on how we might be even more inclusive as a community. We are a liberal and inclusive community but we are also a part of a culture that marginalizes people who are different and we are all affected by that culture in subtle ways.

In the West Salish/Puget Sound Region, over 18,000 immigrants are striving to become productive, contributing members of the community. They face bewildering challenges – from learning English to finding work, from accessing healthcare to finding educational opportunities and legal aid. Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center (KIAC) is the only organization in this region dedicated to assisting immigrants in meeting these challenges. KIAC is a 501(c)(3) founded in 2004.

This week we join together for a multigenerational worship service, our annual no rehearsal, all ages, Christmas Pageant. What is a no rehearsal Christmas Pageant? Everyone will be together in the service as we celebrate the birth legend of Jesus. During the service people are invited to come forward to create a tableaux of manger animals, wise people, shepherds and angels.
