You are invited to join us in our next monthly meditation mini retreat. On the first Saturday of every month from 11:50 am to 2:20 pm we will practice a variety of meditation styles: guided and silent, sitting and walking, and Loving Kindness (metta). The program will be divided into 20 minute meditations, with 5 minute breaks in between. You are welcome to join for all or part of the afternoon.
On Saturday, May 2 people around the world are encouraged to "Walk as One at 1:00" in their time zone at a nearby labyrinth to create a global wave of serenity, love, peace, and good vibes!
The Truth Quest Book Group meets again via Zoom on Sunday, May 3, 8:30 to 9:30 am when we will be discussing the very timely book (for many of us!): "Making the Best of What's Left: When We're too Old to Get the Chairs Reupholstered” by Judith Viorst.
The Twilight Zone--a revolutionary television program from the early 1960s--was created by Rod Serling, who also happened to be a Unitarian. Next Sunday we collectively search for truth and meaning in a "wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination."
Hooray, hooray, the 3rd of May! Outdoor Farmers Market starts on Sunday, May 3.
Starting Point is an after-Sunday-service series that asks what UUism is all about. What are our big questions, and how do we try to answer them? What are our theology and history and some of our spiritual practices?
