Save the date! Alan Searle and Jo Walter present Tales for a Dark Night on Friday, October 30 - the night before Halloween! Join us for an evening of scary stories in our sanctuary of spookiness.
Part I: Gremlins and Ghoulies and Ghosts, Oh My!
For the family friendly first half, it depends on you! Would some of our kids and youth like to give us a scare? If there's interest, we'll offer a kids' storytelling workshop where you can get coaching to prepare your creepy tale, and we have stories to choose from if you haven't got one of your own. If not, our adult tellers will present some twilight tales for all ages. But wouldn't it be so much more fun to get our goosebumps from our young members? Send a message saying you're interested to Jo at admin@kuuf,org and we'll take it from there!
Intermission: Snacks and Costume Parade
Part II: The Witching Hour
Straight-up scary stories by candlelight - meant strictly for mature ears. Storytellers Jo and Alan are complete hams and will happily take full responsibility for your nightmares. But maybe you've got a ghastly grown up story you'd like to share? Let's talk! More details coming in next week's Candle. For now, just save the date—and get ready for a wicked good time!
