Specializing in cultural adaptation, recovery, and gender and sexuality issues, she has dedicated her career to navigating complex human experiences. At the upcoming Learning Forum, Dr. Welkin will share insights from her fieldwork with forced migrants and refugees in Europe and turkey. Also, she will explore how we can better support our frontline heroes—including healthcare workers, teachers, and therapists—who care for those facing physical and psychological struggles.
