Second Friday Film Series: Friday, October 13 at 6:30 pm
The Social Justice Committee will be showing "Gods and Monsters" in honor of Halloween! Its plot is a partly fictionalized account of the last days of the life of film director James Whale (McKellen), known for directing Frankenstein (1931) and Bride of Frankenstein (1935).

A critic states Gods and Monsters (1998) is: "Part biography, part fantasy, part meditation on the true nature of inner monsters, life, death, and art, this is a sensitive and compelling study of an iconic industry figure."
