Together we will question the illusions of a return to a so-called normal, especially one defined by old hierarchies and fear. Instead, we embrace a vision of liberation, where justice and love dismantled the myths that bind us. Together, we will imagine a new way forward, anchored in resilience and shared humanity.

Rev. Rick Barlow is ordained clergy of American Baptist Churches USA. He serves as the Planned Giving Representative for the American Baptist Foundation. He lives in Lake Forest Park with his wife, with whom he shares three daughters and a son. Included among the many community boards on which he has served, is Rainbow Lodge, where he and Beth Wilson developed a great friendship.
