Rev. Dr. Emily Melcher presents Coming Home to Our Bodies

When and how have you experienced being fully at home in your body? What experiences or ideas have caused you to leave your body, or to see is as something other than you? How might we come home to our bodies, and why might we want to? The Rev. Dr. Emily Melcher invites us to journey with these questions through readings, songs, and reflections.

The Reverend Dr. Emily Melcher is a Unitarian Universalist Minister who has served congregations in Vermont, Connecticut, and Washington State. She is newly retired from the UU Congregation of Whidbey Island, and is currently in training to become a UU Spiritual Director. As you’ll hear next Sunday, she is also a singer and songwriter with a deep interest in the intersection of psychology, spirituality, and creativity. She lives on Whidbey Island with her spouse and a marvelous Old English Sheepdog named Teddy.
