Next Sunday, KUUF celebrates its annual flower communion, the Unitarian Universalist ritual that celebrates Earth’s beauty and humanity’s oneness. The first flower communion was created more than 100 years ago by Norbert Capek, who founded the Unitarian Church in Czechoslovakia, and the ceremony it is now celebrated in congregations throughout the world.
Please bring a flower or sprig of green as a symbol of the unique gifts each person contributes to form a beautiful bouquet to symbolize the beauty of community.
Rev. Carol McKinley is a frequent and popular speaker at KUUF. She comes to us from the Olympia Unitarian Universalist Congregation where she is an affiliated community minister.
