Next Sunday, KUUF celebrates its annual flower communion, the Unitarian Universalist ritual that celebrates earth’s beauty and reminds us of the beauty that resides in nature and our relationship to it. Created more than 100 years ago, the flower communion is now celebrated in congregations throughout the world.
Please bring a flower (or two!) or sprig of green as a symbol of the unique gifts each person contributes to form a beautiful bouquet symbolizing the beauty of community and the wonder of nature.
Rev. Carol McKinley is a frequent and popular speaker at KUUF. She comes to us from the Olympia Unitarian Universalist Congregation where she is an affiliated community minister.
