Rev. Amanda Aikman presents A Bittersweet Season

The most profound experiences of longing and sorrow are inextricably bound together with joy and beauty. Poignant feelings of nostalgia, regret, and yearning have the mysterious power to make us whole. Especially at this time, as a fresh new year begins, we are invited to open our hearts to these very human experiences.

The Rev. Amanda Aikman served UU congregations in the Pacific Northwest for 25 years before retiring in 2016. Amanda is the author of 15 plays that have been produced. Her novel, Miss Lister's Guest House, was published last February. Amanda lives in Everett with her spouse, Nancy, and Mousehole, the world's most annoying cat.
