Dear Friends,

I could not help but be inspired by the great turn out and participation at the Annual Congregational Meeting on April 27.  

For those of you who could not be there, two important questions were heard during the discussion. One, how are decisions being made by the Board, and, can the Board be available for in-person conversation after services, as they were in the past?

To begin to address the first, KUUF Board of Trustees meetings are open to all of the congregation and notes are available. They are routinely held every fourth Tuesday of each month, starting at 6:00 pm on Zoom. For the link to the meeting or the official notes, please contact Tanesha.  

For the second question, the board will arrange some time in person to discuss how decisions are made, to receive input, and to improve transparency in board activities. How that will look exactly will be determined by the new board. Although we have board members in place, the board needs to have an official meeting to determine the roles of Presidency, Vice- President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Committee Liaisons.
