Sunday, May 4 marks the opening of a new season of our own KUUF Farmers Market!
Members and friends will see a rich array of bedding plants, fresh asparagus, swiss chard, and more! As spring progresses, we invite all to bring and donate fresh cut flowers (does anyone have lilacs?), home-grown fruits and vegetables, and small handicrafts.
We operate on a “pay what you can” basis, and all proceeds go into our KUUF Annual Fund.
These are the basics:
Drop off donations on the breezeway before the service.
Sales will begin directly after the service— no early birds.
Sales will continue for approximately ½ hour after the service.
Volunteers to donate and to staff the market are welcome! Contact Lisa Johnson
As the season progresses, we will also have produce from our own Nancy Jo’s Garden. (Nancy Jo’s Garden can also use volunteers. Contact garden@kuuf.org to volunteer.)
The Farmer’s Market will continue through the summer and into September. A bounteous season to all!
