Many, many thanks to EVERYONE who was a part of our fabulous Farmers Market last Sunday! Thanks to those who bought items, those who brought items, to the sun for shining, and the wonderful atmosphere of impending summer that we all enjoyed. On our opening day, we earned more than $380!
We still have bedding plants, dahlia tubers, and houseplants, and we’re hoping that more will come in before the service on Sunday. We welcome baked goods, jam, or roasted nuts (which sold out in no time last week!). And as you are reading this there are people at work in KUUF’s garden (aka Nancy Jo’s Garden) to plant, weed, and make even more beds!
Both the garden and the Farmers Market welcome more volunteers. Contact Lisa Johnson (farmersmarket@kuuf.org) if you’d like to volunteer after the Sunday service. If you want to work in the garden, contact Suzanne Dunn at garden@kuuf.org.
Please drop off donations before the service. Sales begin immediately after the service and go into until approximately 12:15 pm.
