The Faith Formation Team is a new group at KUUF that focuses on offering faith formation programs throughout the year.  Our first program, Responding to the Anti-Trans Movement, is a three part video series. Each session will begin with a video and end with reflection and discussion, that looks at how we, as a community, can widen the circle to be a welcoming community to transgender people. This program was developed by Alex Kapitan, of Transforming Hearts Collective, who was a guest in the pulpit at KUUF a year ago. 

This is a “tender topic” for many and the Faith Formation Team has been working with the Compassionate Communication Team (CCT) to present these materials in a manner that offers choice and caring. Members of the Faith Formation Team and CCT will help facilitate the reflection and discussions after the videos.  We want to create a safe place for everyone to learn and grow.
