The KUUF Board is excited to offer many ways to hear what to consider for the exploration of professional ministry. Because we value listening and learning from each other and wisdom emerging, the circles will have a similar structure to other small group circles we’ve done before. The Compassionate Communication Team (CCT) has been asked to facilitate and offer 3-4 rounds of questions with time to ponder, share, and listen without interruptions. The CCT will also offer some framework to understanding shared ministry. Wisdom gathered will be shared with the board. The listening circle will be Sunday July 27 & August 3 at 12:00 pm.
Questions will be something like:
What would you like the leadership on the board to consider in this next phase of seeking professional ministry?
What does shared ministry mean to you?
What has been supportive for you with professional ministry? How might you support professional ministry?
What concerns, if any, do you have with the next phase and that you’d like the board to consider? Are there any challenges you’d like to have considered? (that haven’t been answered by #1)
There will also be a survey with slightly different questions offered to those unable to attend in person.
