Hooray, hooray, the 3rd of May! Outdoor Farmers Market starts on Sunday, May 3.
Yes, it's almost here. Thanks to Brian Watson for our unofficial start last Sunday with fresh kale from the Watson/Roberts garden. There is more to come!
In May, we welcome your donations of fresh flowers (lilacs, rhodies, whatever is blooming!), bedding plants, handmade cards or treats (Kay will be bringing beautiful Mother's Day cards), and any early vegetable or fruit crops. Rumor has it we may have herbs and swiss chard from Nancy Jo's garden...and maybe strawberries soon?
We also need wonderful volunteers to help in Nancy Jo's Garden and to staff the Market from 11:45 am to 12:15 pm after the service.
Guiding principles of KUUF Farmers Market:
Always Pay What You Can
No sales until 11:45 am (after the service)
Pay with cash, check, or use the QR Code from the Order of Service (just be sure to mark it "Farmers Market").
We welcome new volunteers! Contact Lisa Johnson
Last year we started with the hope of earning $500 for KUUF'S GENERAL FUND. We ended up earning more than $3,000! Let's do it again.
