“We have to wake up together. And if we wake up together, then we have a chance. Our way of living our life and planning our future has led us into this situation. And now we need to look deeply to find a way out, not only as individuals, but as a collective, a species.”
Join the Adult Religious Education Committee for a discussion of Thich Nhat Hanh‘s “Zen and the Art of Saving the Planet” on Sunday, April 9, after the service in the sanctuary. The Zen master has insight on how to think about and respond to urgent issues we are facing that are important to us as Unitarian Universalists, including environmental crises and social justice concerns.
Copies of the book are available at Kitsap Regional Library and audible versions are available on YouTube by searching the book title. We hope you will join us for this fascinating discussion.
