In this session, we celebrate the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer+ community as one of our country’s most important “roots.” The gifts and contributions of LGBTQ+ people have never been adequately acknowledged. By learning about LGBTQ+ history and heritage for

LGBTQ+ History Month, we can all better understand that everyone deserves a chance to contribute to society and be treated fairly and equally. By recognizing the importance of the LGBTQ+ community, we can all help put an end to discrimination and build a better world.
