Parish Nurse - Update

What has the Parish Nurse been doing during the pandemic?

Like many of us, Jenn, RN, went virtual during the pandemic. Jenn is faculty at the Olympic college nursing program, in both the Associate and Baccalaureate programs, and has been working with her students throughout the shut down, both virtually and in clinics/hospitals/care facilities. Some highlights of her work include vaccine clinics, most especially at the Marvin Williams Center here in Bremerton.

Throughout the pandemic, she has worked with the KUUF Moving Forward Taskforce in a health advisory capacity, ensuring members of the taskforce and the board had the latest epidemiologic data and evidence in the ever changing world of Covid.

Moving forward, as before, our parish nurse is available at nurse@kuuf.org for questions related to health care. She's been happy to receive email questions and phone calls from members and friends since March of 2020, with questions about everything from vaccines to medication safety. As a reminder, our parish nurse is not a substitute for your own health care provider or calling 911 in an emergency.
