Our Recsenyéd Friends

Soon after we arrived we had lunch
-- fried chicken and mashed potatoes with vegetarian cuisine included --
at the minister's home. Pictured (left to right) Linda, Rev. Kiss Akos,
Mrs. Kiss Ilke, villager, Mrs. Anna Marton, and Csilla Kolcsar (our
wonderful translator).

We tried to visit every home in the village. The little boy shown here was
staying with his relatives while his parents were in Norway.

The women
asked for a group photograph. In the afternoon we attended a meeting of
the women's league, where we described our lives in the United States.
Many more women than those pictured here attended the meeting.
