Committee on Ministry
The Committee on Ministry monitors, evaluates, and advises regarding every facet of the congregation's ministry, both lay and professional. The COM is charged to use KUUF's mission statement as a standard by which to guage the effectiveness of KUUF's ministry, and to make recommendations to improve it.
Specific tasks performed by the COM include conducting a bi-annual congregational survey and reporting feedback to the board and congregation, submitting an annual compensation recommendation for the minister to the board, and providing consultation and counsel to the minister with regard to conditions within the congregation as needed. Our Board and Minister jointly appoint members to this committee.
