KUUF Annual Women’s Retreat 2010

The Women's Retreat is shaping up to be another adventure in fun, creativity, rest, and rejuvenation. Activities which people have suggested or volunteered in- clude: the ever popular Ink Drawings led by Sally Richardson, a new workshop called Junk Mail Origami by Jenny Dorsey—please save junk mail for this- it helps to have a good collection—a Spiritual Walk through the Seabeck graveyard, an aerobic walk to Scenic Beach, a drive to Guillemot Cove to enjoy the old farm and beach. The April Candle will have additional offerings.

These offerings will come from you, so please let us know if you have something you would like to share.

For those women choosing to just spend the day with us, the cost will be $30 which will cover the day fee required by the Conference Center and two meals. Please fill out a registration form and note on it that you will only be spending the day and which meals you will be sharing - breakfast 8 a.m., lunch 12 p.m., dinner 6 p.m.

We also will have a Friday evening hors d' oeuvres pot-luck gathering as people arrive, at which everyone is welcome. Spaces in the houses will be assigned on a first come-first served basis, so please register and pay as soon as you are able. Part of the fee ($25) will be non-refundable, if your plans change after registration.

We're excited to try our new location and especially excited to be able to accommodate more women who could not attend in the past because of family obligations.
